I am extremely honored to announce that my painting “Double Portrait” has been shortlisted for the BP Portrait Award 2017. All prize winners will be announced at an award ceremony at the National Portrait Gallery in London on Tuesday 20 June 2017.
The two other shortlisted artists are Benjamin Sullivan and Antony Williams, whose work I’ve admired for years.
The BP Portrait Award is among the most prestigious portrait competitions in the world. This year there were 2580 submissions from 87 different countries.
